Then He said unto His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV

Qualifications: Saved, Sanctified and Filled with the Holy Ghost. Must love people; be unselfish and devoted to prayer and bible study. Full time employment, great benefits and bonuses.

Do you qualify? If so, then you are the person God is calling into His harvest.

Do you have the gift of Mercy? The hospital, sick and shut-in visitation ministry needs laborers. We assist Elder Green in this ministry to help lighten his load.

Perhaps you function better in the gift of Helps. The missionaries help Sister Dorothy Johnson on skid row on 2nd and 4th Sundays. You will always be welcome there.

Do you sing? The missionary choir ministers on 5th Sunday nights and during our revivals. Don't they sound good? Our ministry in the convalescent hospitals and the House of Uruhu need singers to raise the praise on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and 4th Sunday.


Has God given you a ministry of deliverance, healing or prayer? Then join the other missionaries who labor as altar workers, prayer intercessors and warriors. You will become closer to God as a result.

These are just a few examples where you will find members of the Evangelist-Missionary Fellowship laboring in the Kingdom.

However you will also find Evangelist-Missionaries on the Usher Board, Deaconess Board, Sunday School teachers, leaders in the Small Group Discipleship Ministry and in various other areas of the church. By the way, did you know that the Executive Director of the Youth Ministry, the Director of Volunteer Services and the President of the Young Women's Christian Council are all licensed Evangelist-Missionaries? We believe that whatever our hands find to do, we will do it to the glory of God.

Are you looking for a Sunday School class? Rush to room 17 in the multipurpose building at 8:30 am on Sunday mornings. You will find an informative, inspiring study of the Word of God. You can also participate as you volunteer to answer questions from the lesions on a weekly basis.

Want to meet more people in a smaller setting? Join us in the multipurpose building at 7:00p.m. in our third Friday night fellowship meeting, where the Holy Spirit is always in charge.

Training to obtain you license as an Evangelist-Missionary is provided in the School of Practical Christian Living and in the Bible College, taught by our own seasoned missionaries. Even if you don't desire a license, the classes are beneficial.

Whatever your call, gift or ministry is in the body of Christ, there is a place for you in the Evangelist-Missionary Fellowship under the covering of our pastor Bishop Charles E. Blake, our auxiliary manager Elder Oscar Owens and Our President Evangelist Catherine Gray.
