Women Affairs Organization

The Women Affairs Organization, led by the church's First Lady, Mrs. Mae Lawrence Blake, is one of the foremost auxiliaries within the life of West Angeles Church. Sponsoring dynamic Revival services with such notable speakers as Evangelist Maria Gardner and Bishop T.D. Jakes. Through various fund-raising activities, they have contributed more than $600,000 to the building fund for the West Angeles Cathedral and hundreds of thousands of dollars on beautification and improvement projects.

Women's support activities include the always popular Women's Retreats. The most recent Women's Retreat, at the Desert Springs Marriott Hotel in Desert Hot Springs, California was an incredible success and blessing to all who attended.

Each year, the ladies of West Angeles are treated to an awesome inspiring event in which the First Lady gives an encouraging message for all. These events are called "A Day in May With Mae." Mrs. Blake uses timely examples and pearls of wisdom in simple, often humorous, language to share the Word of God. You do not want to miss the next one.
