Truthseekers M.A.F.I.A.
|

For the time has come and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in TRUTH John 4:23. Ask and it shall be given you;
SEEK, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Matthew 8:7(KJV). |

Our code name M.A.F.I.A. is an
acronym that stands for MINISTRY AND FAITH IN
ACTION. We are young adults diligently seeking the face of God in
order to know God's truth for our lives. The mission of Truthseekers
M.A.F.I.A. is to encourage college-aged young adults to experience a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ through in-depth study of God's
Holy Word.
The TRUTHSEEKER Sunday School class is taught by Elder U.C. Henderson, and
meets every Sunday at 9 a.m. in room 11. We do an extensive book-by-book
study of the bible, while encouraging healthy and edifying conversations of the
subject being taught; and are proud to be a Sunday school class that is not
ashamed to ask questions and discuss practical application of God's word in
our lives.
Every third Sunday is Red Box Sunday -- The Red Box is a place where we can
anonymously ask questions about our Christian walk. If you are bold enough to
write it, we are bold enough to discuss it! We have previously discussed
questions such as: "Can you be a Christian and be a part of a Black Greek
Organization?"; "How can I bring my friends to Christ when they believe the
church is hypocritical?"; "How do I find God's divine-right mate?"
Truthseekers is looking for young adults who are seeking to empower their
relationship with Jesus Christ, and who want to be built up in their knowledge
of the gospel. If you would like more information about TRUTHSEEKERS or are
interested in a position, please contact: (323) 733-8300 ext. 2610/2614.
