11/11/40 Prayer Initiative

As the Church of God in Christ approaches  the annual Holy Convocation, our Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake asks us to intercede and seek the Will of God for Revival, Renewal, Breakthrough in Jesus name. For our  11/11/40 Prayer Initiative we are asking you  to join with us in this time of consecration and spend 11 minutes a day, lifting up these 11 petitions for this 40 day period.

From October 4th through November 12th set aside a specific time to dedicate to the Lord and believe that this years Holy Convocation will be a life transforming experience.  The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16.

Here is one snippet of the petitions on Worship:

Father, the Holy Convocation is for Your glory! Be pleased with our worship, as we offer up praises to You in every worship service.  Let no flesh glory in Your Presence (1 Corinthians 1:29). We confess that ever program participant is “God-focused.” Let every part of every program be cohesive, unified and yet Spirit-led.  We ask that You would allow each person to have a “worship encounter” before they get to church; and once we all come together let Your fire fall in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Psalm 29:2. “Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”

John 4:24. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
