He loved and supported the Church of God in Christ and its teachings with all his heart.

He was a scholar . . . an intellectual but also a preacher . . . who could reach common people at their level.

 

He supported me at every level of my career on whatever issue came before me.

 

His support was not quiet . . . but loud and clear.

 

He stood strong and bold in his support.

 

He was a real faithful and genuine friend.

 

I say to him, “Thank you man, ‘I’ll see you later!’”
