Senior Pastor Charles E. Blake II
& Lady DeAndra Blake
Charles E. Blake II is the Senior Pastor of West Angeles Church of God in Christ. His journey to this moment is a testament of faith, preparation, and service.
At the heart of his tenure is a belief that the church is more than a building. It is a community where faith is nurtured, relationships are built, and people can discover how God can use their gifts to make a difference. Grounded in strong biblical teaching, Pastor Charles is dedicated to helping individuals and families grow in faith and realize their true purpose in Christ so they can serve God and others each and every day.
His path to leadership was shaped through education, community outreach, and years of ministry here at West Angeles, where he served as the Community Relations Director, Assistant Pastor, and Co-Pastor alongside his father, Bishop Charles E. Blake Sr., before becoming Senior Pastor in 2022.
With an intense love for the Lord and His people. Pastor Charles leads with deep care, warmth, and passion for the word of God. He is building on West Angeles' extraordinary foundation and bringing his unique perspective to its future – a future that welcomes new generations and empowers people to put their faith into action.
Pastor Charles is married to First Lady DeAndra Blake and is a proud father of two sons, Charles II and Julian.

and Lady Mae L. Blake
For more than five decades, Bishop Charles E. Blake Sr. and Lady Mae L. Blake have shaped West Angeles into the church and community it is today. Under Bishop Blake’s leadership, West Angeles grew from a congregation of 50 into an internationally recognized ministry, expanding its reach through community development, education, outreach, and service.
Together, Bishop Blake and Lady Mae established a strong foundation and an extraordinary legacy that continues to shape who West Angeles is today.

What We Believe
West Angeles is a Bible-believing church in the Church of God in Christ denomination, and we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for how we live.
The Trinity
We believe that there is only one God–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to a believing prayer.
