For more than 25 years, Dr. Judith McAllister has been a beloved part of the West Angeles family – faithfully serving through music and ministry and sharing her gift with generations of worshippers.

Her connection to Pastor Charles reaches back even further—to the campus of Oral Roberts University, where they first met as Pastor Charles began his studies. Through the years, God has woven their paths together in friendship, faith, and ministry.

As Dr. McAllister enters a new season, we are reminded of the words of Isaiah 43:18–19: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”

These words do not ask us to forget what God has done. They remind us not to hold so tightly to the past—even its victories—that we miss what God is doing now.

The assignment has not changed, but the positioning has.

We celebrate Dr. McAllister with deep love and gratitude for all she has poured into West Angeles, and we look with faith and expectation toward the new thing God is doing in her life.

Dr. McAllister will continue to serve West Angeles throughout October, giving us the opportunity in the weeks ahead to celebrate her ministry and the tremendous impact she has made on our church family.

Dr. McAllister, you are loved, you are appreciated, and you will always be part of the West Angeles family.
