2025 JANUARY CONSECRATION CALENDAR WHAT IS A CONSECRATION CALENDAR? A consecration is a short season in which the people of God dedicate themselves to seeking him in special and focused ways. Our January consecration will consist of corporate prayer and fasting each day - see Isaiah 58 | Daniel 10:3 | Matthew 4:2 | Esther 4:16.. etc. Please read and reflect on each daily theme and Scripture and adhere to the short prayer instruction for that day. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? WHAT ARE THE SUGGESTED EATING PROGRAM? Option 1: If you decide not to abstain from mea ls, consider eating only fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, and heal thy prepared chicken or fish. Also, consider drinking only water or fruit juices (no added sugar). It is suggested that you abstain from sweets, sodas, and desserts. Option 2: If you decide to abstain from meals, consider doing so until 3 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays. Drink water throughout the day and follow the same eating principles suggested in the first option for your evening meal. Option 3: You may decide to engage in a personal time of consecration in which you prayerfully decide on the days and duration of your fast and the foods from which you will abstain. ELDERS & MINISTERS Our Elders & Ministers lead through biblical teaching, discipleship, spiritual counseling, and furthering pastoral care. Through careful study and preparation this team is called upon to serve and further several aspects of spiritual development at our church. EVANGELIST MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP Our Evangelist Missionary Fellowship focuses on spreading the gospel and spiritual outreach locally and around the world. Members share the message of Christ through weekly prayer, special events, and other gatherings designed to grow our faith. PRAYER MINISTRY Our Prayer Ministry is a powerful and kind-hearted team dedicated to interceding for our church and community. Through weekly prayer calls, revivals, and other services we seek to uplift and encourage our West Angeles family on their walk with the Lord. NURSES UNIT The Nurses Unit provides skilled, compassionate care to anyone experiencing an unexpected health issue or medical emergency during services and/or special events. We interface with medical professionals and other auxiliary teams to provide swift and discreet service to those in need. WEST A CAFÉ VOLUNTEERS The West A Cafe is open Sundays for breakfast and lunch – serving healthy, hearty meals that are good for the body and the soul. WEST ANGELES CONSECRATION January 2026 Preparing for Consecration A consecration is a short season in which the people of God dedicate themselves to seeking Him in focused and intentional ways. At West Angeles, the annual consecration is an opportunity to unite our church in prayer as we begin the new year. Our time of consecration will begin on January 1, 2026 and include corporate daily scriptures, prayer, and fasting. Follow the steps below for detailed instructions on how to prepare your heart, body, and mind to experience the power of God during this time. Also, join us for a Sunday Prayer, January 11-25 at 9:30am , just before service. Remember, the January Consecration is voluntary. Please consult your physician for wise eating principles before engaging in any fasting routine or dietary changes—especially if you are under a doctor’s care or managing a medical condition.
